In the course of our day we encounter hundreds of technology upgrades from a basic light switch to a centralized computer network running underneath our feet. In each advancement towards a globalized society we encounter our share of drawbacks, glitches if you will, that make our step into the future seem to be more trouble than it’s worth. Take for example the telephone. It began in our homes and offices with a cordless that offered us the ability to carry on with tasks at hand without the hassle of a phone cord tripping us up as well as the freedom to have our hands free in order to both converse and work at the same time. Where as years prior, one had to remain in the very location of where the phone jack was located. From the cordless telephone we flew into the age of wireless communication, which brought about the invention of cellular phones. Cellular phones have both their conveniences and inconveniences. In places such as airplanes where signals are being sent and received, cell phones are restricted due to the interference that they have proven to cause.
