Sports such as football, basketball, and boxing are considered masculine sports. Where as, ballet is considered feminine because it is characterized by grace and precision of movement. This stereotype is portrayed in the movie, Billy Elliot. Billy Elliot is a movie that depicts stereotypes against males. Billy Elliot is about an eleven-year-old boy that has a natural talent for ballet dancing, but his father will not allow it.
