Affects of King George III on American Colonies

The high-handedness of King George III was the most responsible for the conflict between Britain and its American colonies. With out the decisions that King George III made other issues such as the British mercantilism system and navigation laws as well as actions of British officials in the colonies. Once King George III had rightful power to the thrown all connection, order, and loyalty with the American colonies went down hill.
King George slowly but surely began taking the colonies rights of being Englishmen. The first action King George III took was to set up mercantilism in the colonies even thought the only colony that was really his was Georgia, not that is was even his to begin with.
