Ripped and Roided
Ripped and Roided Major League Baseball is much different then it was fifty years ago. It is still the same game, with balls and strikes, three outs and nine innings, but the players have changed. The players in the MLB today are much bigger, stronger, and faster then ever before in the history of baseball. There are more homeruns being hit recently then what was even imaginable a few decades ago. Just take a look at the physiques of the sluggers today such as McGuire, Sosa, and Bonds. These guys are freaks of nature when compared to the old timers like Mantle, Maris, and Aaron. The reason for this is no other then illegal steroid use. Anyone who follows baseball knows that steroid use among players has become part of the game. Drug testing should be required in Major League Baseball in order to uphold the integrity of the game. Baseball is supposed to be our nations past-time. It is unbelievable how corrupted the league has gotten since the 80’s.
