Females are given much more attention that males when it comes to adolescent years. ... During puberty, there are numerous physical and emotional changes that occur to both males and females. The major difference is that the changes that occur to females are more widely known because their changes are much more noticeable. Also, females’ physical changes during puberty occur at a younger age than boys, causing people to pay attention to girls before boys.
Females have obvious physical changes that males don’t share in. ... As a result, adolescent girls are often much less comfortable during puberty than most males.
The changes that occur in males are often much less known about by the opposite sex because many of their changes are hidden from view.
