16 year olds should be allowed to vote
Why is the vote denied to 16 year olds Perhaps because they are immature, perhaps it’s because their idea of voting is limited to who should win pop idol; Will or Gareth; or maybe, maybe it is because the government are too timid to make such a large advancement before the States do.
Why is it the government choose to treat 16 year old as adults only when the benefit is in their favour? They are prepared to allow 16 year olds to drop out of school and start working. They are prepared to make 16 year olds pay tax.
