stanley had has to face an awful miscarriage of justice. it all turns out ok in the end and everyone is happy especially stanley and zero. throughout the book you can see the growing friendship between stanley and zero. stanley shows courage and loyalty when he goes after zero when he runs away from camp and they look after each other in order to survive.
