The Constitution I believe the Constitution is a conservative document. The liberals of America have tried to bend, poke, and prod the Constitution to make it conform to their own agenda. The liberals believe the Constitution is bendable, whereas conservatives believe the Constitution is a timeless document that should remain unchanged throughout the years. The Constitution creates a system of checks and balances to keep any part of the government from becoming too powerful; so to say that the Constitution promotes a strong federal government is foolish. ... The system of checks and balances is the whole basis for my argument that the Constitution is a conservative document. If the Constitution was written to grant the federal government more power why was the checks and balances made. The Constitution is conservative document that unfortunately, is being interpreted by liberal judges, who let their own personal agenda interfere with their interpretation of the document that our whole government is based on. ... ” Obviously the judges did not bother to read the Constitution, which never states that there should be a separation between church and state.
