v Information on Garment gathered -Processed through computer systems: style, size, cost -Specifications printed -Picture of garment -Material to be used -Customer requirements v Pattern printed using special machine. -Doesn’t need monitoring -Will print 24/7 v Spreaders -Spread material out onto table -Person is able to ride back & forth on machine -60-ply max v Gruber machine -Air is pressed up through little holes on table, takes the weight off the fabric allowing it to be moved without disturbance. v Computer made pattern placed on material -Contains order number & size of jacket v Gruber Cutter -Places plastic overtop of material, sucks all of the air out to make pile thinner and easier to cut. v Material gets cut & sorted into bundles v Every piece of jacket that is related to the same order is ticketed with the same number or code v Fuser -Puts fusing on garment.
