LIKE A WINDING SHEET
The round dynamic character I analyzed is Johnson in Like a Winding Sheet, by Ann Petry. In the beginning of the story Johnson was tired, over worked, and grumpy and in pain. Even though he was tired and didn’t want to get up for work, he still seemed to have a loving and jovial relationship with his wife Mae. As the story progressed, when Johnson reluctantly got up for work he began to rush, having less patience, and complained more about he pain in his legs and trying to avoid being late for work again.
