Some people refer to Jesus as a “Second Moses” because both their teachings discussed similar ideals. Jesus believed that the rich and powerful are not the ones who are really blessed, but rather those who pray to God and trust him are blessed. Jesus discussed how people should want to be seated next to God in heaven, be just, forgive sinners, and advocate peace—much as Moses did. By following these laws people will be able to keep others on the right path and show them the light to salvation.
