Minimum Wages
Increasing Minimum Wages sounds like a good idea, but there are to many negative affects that would happen due to the increase of it. The reasoning to raise minimum wages, would be to lower the poverty, but really it would only do the opposite. If minimum wages were to Increase, so would the wages of other things and then the cost of living would rise. Once that cost of living rises with wages, there would then be layoffs, because employers wouldn’t be willing to pay workers the increase so some people would just be left without a job.
