1984 An Opinion
George Orwell’s “1984” is one of the best novels that I have ever read. ... I loved the suspense and the twists and turns around every corner that he elaborated in “1984”. ... Indeed, I was captivated by “1984’s” surprise ending, its graphic and insightful information about totalitarian government, and how I became so involved and interested in the book that I did not want to put it down. ... However, the ending in “1984” was a complete surprise to me. ... Indeed, Orwell kept “1984” interesting and realistic and didn’t change the ending to suit the “Hollywood” formula. Another reason I enjoyed “1984” a great deal was because of its vivid and insightful information about totalitarian governments. ... “1984” was very similar to Communist Russia and shed new light and clarity about the methods it used to so totally control the Russian people.
