RADIO ASTRONOMY Contact, a movie which involves the search and/or discovery of an extraterrestrial beacon which may point to life in a distant galaxy. Starring Jodie Foster as “Elly” and Matthew McConaughey as “Palmer”, the movie tells a fascinating story of a radio astronomer searching for that distinct sound which may lead to the discovery of life somewhere in the universe besides here on earth, but this discovery may also entail opponents as well as proponents. ...
