When the eyes of Kay and the fair maiden finally met, the sky became completely dark and Kay was now in total control of the maiden. ... By this time Gerda was looking for Kay and when she found him, he had turned into an icy cold person. “Kay, who is this woman,? ... replied Kay, “and I am going with her because she promised she will make me happy and I know she will because she is my mother. ... Gerda was really upset but she told herself that a man like Kay doesn’t deserve her love so she left Kay and went home immediately. ... The next morning, after all the preparations were done, Gerda and the samurai were prepared to get married in a chapel where Gerda and Kay used to go to every Sunday. ... Meanwhile Kay recovered from the witch’s spell he remembered all the bad things he had said to Gerda. ... Kay was worried about Gerda and he decided to go back and look for her right away. As Kay reached the village he found that Gerda was already married to another man. ... Kay was shocked and traumatized by Gerda’s words. ... Kay realized that he doesn’t deserve her after all.
