The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole The Story Adrian Mole is a budding intellectual. He reads George Eliot and writes his own poetry. He also keeps a secret diary and dreams that one day it will be discovered and the world will finally understand the torments of being aged 13 and 3/4. Adrian lives with his parents, George and Pauline Mole, in the very ordinary town of Leicester in the middle of England.
