Initiation
Initiation Initiation was one of the better short stories I read. I could relate to it more than any of the others because it was up to date, and it was easy to comprehend. In this short story a girl by the name of Millicent expresses her experience with her high school sorority and the positive and negative points of joining the sorority. Everyone at some point in their life has to choose whether or not they want to be part of a certain group or activity, and by reading this story you realize that some people can be superficial and you don’t have to be part of the “in-crowd” to be a good person.
