Mac OS X v10 2 is promoted as an advanced open and easy to use operating
Mac OS X version 10.2, code-named Jaguar, is a major competitor in the markets of the programmer’ and developer. Apple chief executive Steve Jobs, wanted the newest Mac OS to handle the demands of Apples high-end customers, who use the platform for graphics, video and music, and its growing base of new iMac consumers. Its main competitor’s are Microsoft, and the ‘windows’ operating system as well as the LINUX operating system. Currently the version, OS 9, is installed only on 1.2% of consumer market PCs, which Microsofts Windows dominates with 88%.
