Day I Cannot Forget
It was a Wednesday afternoon when I was talking to my friend on the phone. ... I was saying to him that I did not have anything to wear; he said he was in the same shoes. Raul and I decided to go to the mall. I told Raul to pick me up in five minutes, but he told me no. He said you pick me up in five minutes because I have no gasoline. Whatever I said, so I decided to drive and boy was that a mistake. ... I still remember this if it was just yesterday, but the date was on July 10, 2002. ... So I thought I was king of the road. Not only this day but prior I would always be driving at unsafe speeds, racing at intersections, passing stop signs, etc. I was a reckless driver.
