Explorative strategies Here are the different strategies we have used and how we used them: 1. Still image/Freeze frame A still image or freeze frame is a piece of drama that is completely still, like in a picture. The freeze frame technique can be used to show the end of a scene or the end of a play. A freeze frame can be very good for leaving a piece of drama on a cliffhanger like at the end of Eastenders. It can also be good if you have 2 things happening at once on a stage then it can be used for cross cutting e.g. One side of the stage freezes while the other side continues with the action.
