We as students need the opportunity to have our minds stimulated, some classes where lectures are given every class period fail to do so. ... To have a class like Race, Class and Gender, where we get to have opinions and at the same time also have some of these opinions challenged by other people will be a beneficial experience. ... This shows that we need this class to enlighten us more on the world and the cultures around us. ... Society still seems to hold these same gender roles in today’s world but, of course, not to such and extreme. ... This class should hopefully put things in a new perspective, take away some of the ignorance, and give people a chance to stop hating what they don’t understand and to start appreciating the diverse world they live in.
