Why college is beneficial

I could think of a lot of more to write about, because my parents have always told me that I needed to go to college. I’m always being told reasons why I need to be in college. I think my favorite is “If you don’t go to college you will end up on the back of a garbage truck. ... The things you learn in college are most likely going to be beneficial in some way eventually. ... College gives you about an extra year to decide what you want to be doing when u start a career, while you’re learning more as you go.
