What is the true definition of an Imperialistic Nation? An Imperialist is a person who enlarges his own power by taking over the riches and land rightfully belonging to another. There have been many Empires based on the expansionist mentality of Imperialism. At the Dawn of the 21st century when this world has become a global village and Empires have broken up it is hard to believe that there might just be one Nation with deep desires to be an un-declared super Empire. This Nation claims to be the backbone of Democracy. This nation can also be credited for the ‘spreading’ of Democratic values across the continents. After years and years of struggle against the “Red Storm’’, winning the Space race and defeating the Soviets in the Cold War this Nation has come to see the world as a game of chess with small nations as its Pawns and itself as the Player of the game. Is The United States of America truly an Imperialist? I have come to the basic understanding that The United States of America really is an Imperialist. Firstly we will venture into the history of the Americain actions which have hinted to us about their plans for a Global Empire.
