Stress refers to the body’s psychological responses to any demand that is perceived as threatening to a person’s well being. As our natural reaction to the threatening situations, stress is our ally in survival. Stress has various physiological consequences such as high blood pressure, headaches, sweating etc or psychological consequences such as boredom, dissatisfaction, anxiety, depression etc. There are several ways to manage stress. Stress management at both individual and organizational levels consists of following three steps: 1. Awareness of stress symptoms 2. Determining the source of stress 3.
