Plagiarism Plagiarism sometimes occurs so often at times we are not aware of it. With more people writing books, dissertations, magazines, etc, it seems almost impossible not to plagiarize. Therefore, people plagiarize because they either find it ridiculous to quote everything or they do not understand that they are plagiarizing. So, one has to wonder exactly what the rules are to governing plagiarism.
