An Essay on Imagination
I imagine a vast expanse of dust & heat. An overwhelming dominance of one colour, the sand. I imagine tiny & incredibly bizarre animals rarely glimpsed, lizards & snakes. I imagine harsh extremes of sweltering, almost hypnotic, heat by day & the stark cold of night. I imagine crossing paths with fantastically tough & wise desert nomads. The occasional weed here & there breaking the devastating singular beauty of the most truly sublime of landscapes. I see the cube in the near distance, the size of an average household room of England.
