Computerized balloting has generated quite a debate. There are those who think it will simplify the voting process, and those who think it still has several glitches. What computerized balloting hopes to accomplish is to make paper ballots and lever machines a thing of the past. People against computerized balloting say that it lacks adequate auditing and the devices operate basically in secret. The computerized balloting process has been tested and it was found to allow voters and poll workers to cast extra votes.
