AN ACCOUNT OF LEARNING MATHEMATICS USING DIFFERENT MEDIA With no previous experience of correspondence learning my skills in learning maths using different media has been limited. In my school days we were taught using, what would now be classed as old fashion methods. ... The progress I have made in studying using different media has been steady and extremely enjoyable. As I’ve been away from study for so long, I chose to adopted the OU learning strategy from the beginning and have found the use of the different media although a little strange to begin with, has really helped my understanding of the mathematics being taught.
