Relationships Between Drug Usage and High School Students Research Question: This study will have a primary focus on investigating whether there is a degree of progression of drug use in high school students as they spend more time high school. This study will also have a secondary investigation to see whether there is a relationship between gender and the progression of drug use. ... Hypothesis: Our theory is that students affiliated with drugs early in high school will have a greater tendency to increase their drug usage and variety of drugs as they progress through high school. Our secondary theory in relation to gender and drug usage is that males will start drug usage earlier than females. Females will then increase their usage of drugs later on in high school and will gradually level out to the same degree as males. General Approach: This study will entail a correlation study in examining the degree of relationship between the progressions of drug usage as students spend more time in high school. ...
