They are discovering what could be bacterial life in the clouds surrounding the Venusian atmosphere. The chemical makeup of the clouds in the atmosphere approximately 50 km up is an odd assortment of gases. Gases such as hydrogen sulphide and sulphur dioxide, which normally react with each other and are never found together unless something is producing them.
