“There is no happiness where there is no wisdom.” What is the word wisdom? What about the word happiness? ... In the play of Antigone King Creon is punished for his pride, and he is offered these words of advice from Charagos, ”There is no happiness where there is no wisdom.” If there were no wisdom present of anything, how would it be possible to succeed in later years? ... Without wisdom of events or the world around us one cannot achieve happiness or anything of that matter. I agree with this quote because I do feel happiness is gained by wisdom.
