Looking Back

In "Piano," D.H Lawrence tries to convince the readers that you shouldn’t take your childhood for granted. Lawrence proves his point in this by using a certain tone in his writing. Also Lawrence uses a simile that tells you first hand the way he feels. Therefore in the "Piano," written by D.H Lawrence tone and similes are using to let the reader knows that he misses his childhood, and that we should never take our childhood for granted.
