SHORTLIST OF PVTs Choose ONLY one of the following as the title of your portfolio overview essay: „h Nutrition „h Pain „h Medical Ethics and Legal and Professional Responsibilities Generic Mark Scheme See Generic Mark Scheme attached. Remember that your Overview Essay is an overview of how your portfolio entries have contributed to your understanding of the portfolio Vertical Theme (PVT) that you have chosen to write about and not simply an overview of the subject of the PVT. Under ¡¥Analysis of the portfolio entries¡¦ markers will be looking for evidence that you have been able to identify different aspects of the theme within several of your encounters with patients or within other work contributing to your portfolio. In your Overview Essay you should refer back to those reports and interactions with patients, relatives and staff; and analyse them to demonstrate understanding of the theme. ...
