Drugs
The three drugs that I decided to look up were “Club Drugs,” “Steroids,” and “Heroin.” I picked these three drugs because I have never really known what these drugs did for people, or why they are so popular in the media. The first drug I learned about was “Club Drugs.” The words “club drugs” are often referred to as the drugs that the public usually thinks of as being used in “date rapes.” One of the club drugs commonly used is called “Rohypnol. ... Some other affects of club drugs are that it can cause damage to the nerve cells in your brain. ... “Higher doses of club drugs can cause sever breathing problems, coma or even death. ... Before they realized the effects of the drugs, it was too late; the drug had been emerged into the athletic world. By the 1980’s, “a black market began to flourish for the illegal production and sale of the drugs for nonmedical purposes. ... In summary, it is my opinion that any drugs, be it for a stimulant or a depressant, are not good for you. ... I learned a great deal about three specific drugs that I really did not know about.
