An inspector calls is a play written by JB Priestley. ... The inspector calls around and starts to blame each one on their own and this leads to arguments and disputes between the family. After all this had happened the inspector leaves and he then leaves the family to settle their miseries. They get a phone call afterwards from the hospital saying that there is an inspector on his way to question the death of a girl called Eva Smith. This proves that the inspector wasn’t one at all and he was just pretending to be one. Also the girl Eva Smith was different each time the inspector showed the pictures. ... But at no time in the play does the inspector show the picture to two or more family members at the same time.
