No man is an Island
According to the view of John Donne, “No man is an island, entire of itself. ... ” In this quote Donne is trying to express his ideas that no man can survive on his own as everyman for himself. Man can only survive the challenges brought on by life if they work together as one in society. ... ”
No man acted as an island after the American Revolution. ... Going back to Donne’s quote, if each of the colonists had acted as an island, we would not have the ordered government we have today.
The attacks on 9/11/01 provide a good example of the fact of working together ends up better in the end than it would if man were to act as an island.
