My writing over this semester has improved tremendously. This is my last year at American University, and I had to write different kind of papers for my classes. However, Professor Jacobe’s class helped me to clarify a lot of questions I had about writing. The three major points that I learned are writing a clear introduction, outline, and conclusion. The first point is the introduction. I thought that the introduction should be very short, and that it does not have to include a lot of information about the topic discussed. However, in this college writing class, I learned that the introduction is the key to writing a good paper.
