British Political Control over the Colonies
As of the year 2003 the United States has welcomed a mixture of Hamilton and Jefferson’s political ideas. Our country has both an agricultural and an industrial system. But between the two views presented, Hamiltonian or Jeffersonian, I would greatly consider the Hamiltonian approach to government. To begin, Hamilton wanted to end the domestic and foreign debt of the United States by issuing new bonds and paying the value of the original bonds. This was a problem for many because when they didn’t receive their payments they decided to sell the bonds at a cheaper price. And when Hamilton’s idea was presented the people who now owned the bonds were getting the full value of the bonds.
