Machismoism
Machismo has been around since the caveman era, but that does not make it right. Having power over someone like they are slaves is no way to live. Better yet, no way to treat a person. There is no acceptable reason to any circumstance why machismo should happen. In the story A House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, machismo happens quite often to young women. One of the first cases of machismo happens to Esperanza Cordero and her little sister Nenny. “They’ve got plenty to say to me and Nenny inside the house.
