Art Museum Assignment: The painting that I chose to analyze is titled “Bank Job” by Mateo Ramero. It is under the American Indian Galleries on the 3rd floor. After reading about this painting and learning about its background I was ready to analyze, the only problem was that I couldn’t figure out how it related to nature. However, I was not about to give up because, for some reason or another, I found it very intriguing. So, I spent some time thinking about the symbolism that was hidden in the painting, because there is symbolism in almost every piece of art, and this is what I came up with: The painting shows a man and a woman dressed in sophisticated clothing and riding in a convertible with the top down.
