The Great Santini Scene analysis By Chase Fedina The scene begins as a basketball game is starting, Ben is playing in the game and Bull and his family are up in the stands. Ben starts out playing great, he scores two consecutive baskets right at the start of the game. After about a minute into the game Ben gets fouled and Bull is yelling from the stands in anger, the play goes on and he fouls Ben again, knocking him down. Coaches and players crowd around Ben as his father runs out on to the court to him.
