“Literacy and Me”
Let me introduce myself: My name is Bill. I'm 34 years old. I'm a single parent with two very active children. I work more than 40 hours per week, and for the first time in my life I'm a college student. My assignment is to write about an experience I've had with writing or with literacy in general. I've decided to write about the experience I'm having right now. I really am not a very skilled especially when it comes to writing something that has to come right out of my head. I’ve always had trouble with writing original material. Don’t get me wrong I’m actually a very creative person but when it comes to writing an original piece such as a short story or poetry I draw a blank.
