As it occurred in the seventies and eighties, a devastating famine is unfolding in Ethiopia once again. Although international attention is valuable in leading to temporary relief measures, so far it fails to discover the true nature of the problem in Ethiopia. Like the international community, I initially believed that gloom and doom in Ethiopia was imposed by nature and that there is no one to blame. But after serious examination of the problem, I found the true nature of this disaster was more of a man-made than nature made. ...
In Ethiopia, the reason why so many people in Ethiopia have fallen victims to drought, starvation, and war is because of the government’s policy. ... I discovered that the government’s outcry of the famine threat is for the advantaged TPLF (Tigranian People’s Liberation Front) ruling elements to divert and distort Food Aid to feed the large number of its forces stationed in many military garrisons thought the country. ... ” Consequently, the Ethiopian people are evidently victims of an enigmatic crime engineered by the government of Ethiopia.
