W.E.B DuBois: "The Souls of Black Folks"
W.E.B. DuBois was a revolutionary figure in an era of
social and racial unrest. DuBois was a radical who engulfed
himself with an honest study of the black man to discover
the social truths that were present in society. At a young
age DuBois took actions towards racial tension by becoming a
local correspondent for the New York Globe, where he
stressed the need for black people to politicize themselves.
