Bill Irwin : The Harlequin Studies

Bill Irwin : The Harlequin Studies When I heard that we were going to see a clown, I was very much skeptical. When I think about clowns, I think about a bunch of goof balls who have no real theatrical talent but only have the ability to make small children laugh, certainly not adults. Boy was I wrong. Bill Irwin was a clown by trade but not like many peoples traditional definition of a clown. He stuck more to the theatrical side of clowning, but was able to make every adult in the house laugh like they were kids again. All of his performances were absolutely brilliant! One could tell just by watching, that much thought, planning, and choreography went into every fluid movement.
