Capitalism has had bad press. But the fundamental classical meaning of capitalism is simply "free trade". ... It so often happens that when a political system so utterly fails that it can no longer sustain itself in profit, that it needs a scapegoat to lampoon, then capitalism is the victim. This exploitation of the concept of capitalism as the "guilty party" has thus, corrupted the original classical meaning of the term Capitalism.
