Privacy in todays society
The chosen article delineates the trials and tribulations that Prince William and his acquaintances are constantly faced with; in respect to the invasion of privacy in their lives. The article allows us to consider privacy in many forms: privacy of and within inter-personal relationships, in the workplace, in the home, the way it shapes our identity, developmental privacy and privacy in today’s society. In fact, privacy is an issue that is very much at the core of everyone’s life. ... It denotes dynamic consequences, in that privacy is being open as well as being close to others. Expanding from the word ‘control’, we can see just how important privacy is to the psychological well being of an individual. Privacy is the very mechanism in which we can regulate our environmental interactions, both in the external environment and the internal environment.
