Frankenstein criticism
I wish to express my views upon the novel, “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley in hope that someone may side with my thoughts. ... Mary Shelley is able to evoke emotions and depict visions of every situation in “Frankenstein”. ... For example, the creature just happened to find Frankenstein’s brother. ... As I previously stated in my own criticism, Elizabeth also said that the monster was the key theme to the author’s own loneliness. ... Reading this peace of criticism greatly enhanced my beliefs of the author’s loneliness. ... She says that signs of solitude included, “Walton’s solitary childhood, his lack of a friend on board his ship, the deserted graveyards, Frankenstein’s lonely laboratory, the single dog-sled. ... Another piece of criticism written by Helen Moore further supported the views by Elizabeth Nitchie and me. She writes, “‘Frankenstein’ alone was personal, it alone reflected Mrs. ... ” Thornton Hunt wrote his opinion in the Shelley Atlantic Monthly saying, “-the daring originality of her mind comes out most distinctly in her earliest published work, ‘Frankenstein’. ... I agree that Mary Shelley was both daring and original with her “Frankenstein” book.
