The teachers and administrators in your school have become increasingly concerned about the effects of poor attendance on students’ academic performance. I am writing to you opposing the policy that that would fail students who are absent from school more than 20 days a year. I don’t agree with failing students who have been absent more than 20 days because if they come back apparently they want to learn so I think whether they are absent or not they should get to at least try to get a D for a grade.
