For high school student athletic training girls are commonly seen participating. Most of them do not want to pursue sports medicine as a job but are in it because athletic training is something fun that they enjoy for the moment. ... College student athletic trainers all want to do some form of sports medicine type of job. The job that person receives after graduation could range from a licensed athletic trainer to a physical therapist for a sports team. That is when the student athletic trainer realizes females have somewhat of a difficulty getting hired in the male dominating sports.
